Yeah I did that for mine too. 22.88 lbs per hp, or .043 hp per lb. That's when new...without fluids...and at sea level.

I figure I'm optimistically driving around with about 29 lbs/hp or .035 hp per lb. When at max GVWR I'm at 54 lbs per hp ideal (63.7 realistically) and .016 hp/lb (realistic)

I get .054 for the Aveo and .064 on the Dakota. I have the sad. But, like your truck, I can get through a blizzard without any problem.

Nice. It's supposed to snow again up here in Alaska soon so maybe I can get some awesome pictures. I've never seen snow like I have up here. It's usually about the size of a quarter and once it starts coming down, it just doesn't stop. We actually just got about 8 inches last night alone. And that's a small amount.

I don't even want to do the calculation for my body armored version. I've actually never weighed it since I put all the steel on. Need to go to the dump or a truck stop.

I did some fuzzy math that puts a wet fzj80 in the 5050 lbs ballpark, figure 150 for the sliders, 25 extra lbs per (another 150) wheel and go from there. 5300 is my safe guess for where Im at.

8.81 lb/hp or 0.11 hp/lb. Not bad.

I bet my car is worse. Way worse. Subaru Legacy with 160 or 165hp. The AWD drive-train in a mid-sized sedan. power/weight has to be way towards the bottom of the list.

Just take the weight and divide it! My truck is 4x4 so that is a lot more weight too.

Yeah probably another 200 for front bumper and winch, 150 rear bumper, high lift jack and jerrycan 50 and 50 for the roof rack. 5750.

I got 0.1060606061, but then again my car isn't very big :p

Note, Why oh why do you have an HID headlight in a non-projector unit? You do realize your light is not only blinding but eye melting to us in small cars? =( If its not yours then nvm lol

50.96 lb/hp or 0.019 hp/lb.....!

My other car is 18.14 lb/hp and 0.06 hp/lb which seems pretty normal.

This is the first time any of these figures has made any sense to me. I'm not a 'Murcan, so everything I recognise is metric. The same goes for ft/lb torque. My scale is as such; 0-250: the norm, 250-500: diesely weasely, 500-750: haulin', 750-1000: black circles, 1000+: AMG Black

They aren't HIDs. The light on the driver side burnt out just as we got off the highway. The other side is just the high beam cause that was the only light we had.

LS Swapped Datsun on the safe side is 2800 lbs with on the safe side 295 HP Gives me 9.49 per horsepower or .10535 per pound . Not too shabby especially since I think my car weights closer to 2600 pounds and is going to make closer to 315 ...
